Educational Institutions or Jails?

CC TV has found its application in many places. Initially the implementation of these surveillance cameras was so expensive. When the price slashed down it is being widely used in many organizations. It finds application in public places like Airport, Transport systems; Railway stations etc. Shop lifters could be identified and prevented by the use of such surveillance equipment.

But why should it be used in educational institutions? What kind of activities usually takes place in a college/school campus? Teaching,  recreation, romance, friendships, competitions, sports etc. Then what do you expect to find out with these cameras? Do you people think that there is a security threat from outside to happen in your organization? Or do you think that the computers, books, black board or the students themselves would explode to destroy your organization.

No, you don’t expect any of these things to happen.

You impose children to be in uniform even in colleges. You think that it is a part of the easy way of disciplining. You people want to peep into their cute privacy, their romance, their love, their friendships, their small fights. You watch them like a paranoiac. You are upbringing the students as if in an electric fenced asylum. You people are answerable in tampering their teens, their happiness, their small love affairs and mischief.

Have you ever heard about the Gandhian quote-“Education means to bring out the best in a human being”. Are you really running an educational institution? Do you mean this is disciplining. You are destroying the children. Let them grown by expressing themselves. Let them have their own fun, love and friendships. Teach them to be self discipline. Bring the best in them. You can use your cameras better to run some butcher shops or Jails.
